Three individuals were indicted today by a Wood County grand jury on charges stemming from three separate incidents of alleged child abuse.

As a theater owner, Rod Saunders routinely sees dozens of ho-hum films, but recently he saw one that really made him tear up -- "We Bought a Zoo," starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson.

He was born in Napoleon on June 14, 1925, to the late Lee Weaks and Lelah F. Myers.

With the calendar turning to May this week, it also means it is time for sectional baseball tournaments to start with tournament play beginning on Saturday.
