Potential candidates seeking political office on the 2010 ballot can begin filing next week in the Logan County Clerka TMs Office a ' or in some cases the Office of the Secretary of State.

Whoever may be up for re-election, let's be clearheaded and remember, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Just because someone files for an office on the platform of "we need a change" doesn't mean that the new candidate is what we need. Let's be intelligent about our choices. Sometimes experience counts for a lot. On the other hand, if change IS needed, let's listen thoughtfully to what both sides have to say and make the right choice for our community!
