I hope the store does well but a lot depends on the price. Sometimes small stores get greedy, especially for used items. Consignment stores have been doing well in this general area the past couple years.

Buyer beware, You've still got to watch out for conterfeits when you buy things like Coach bags or 7 jeans etc same as if you bought them on EBay.

This sounds more like a fund raisng ''party'' than a block party so the owner of Attaviano's can send her kid on a trip. I can't wait to see what kind of discounts they are giving, and how much of their profits are going to the trip.

oh c'mon "party pooper", give me a break... trust me, I'm sure the owner of Attaviano (not AttavianoS) can afford to send her child on a trip. The whole block party is a fund raiser for the Leominster High kids. What is wrong with that? It will generate business for three businesses while also raising money for the kids. Pick another subject in the forum to try and instigate an arguement that people actually care about, rather than picking on a fundraiser/party.

I have listened to the LHB Band and Jazz Band at countless community evnets. They are great and hope they make this well deserved trip to FL! I plan on attending! Kudos to the businesses involved with the fundraiser. Great to see the local businesss support the kids!

How about a fund raiser so we can build a new police station and solve the MORALE problem that plagues the Leominster PD ?

Go for it. Nobody's stopping you...or are you waiting for someone else to do it for you.

There is no morale problem, the Leominster police are well paid, get great benefits and
enforce the law, and keep crime way down.

And now for some real news....

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Cancer

Discussions and meetings go really well today because you're finding it easy to put your thoughts into words. You'll also show that you respect other people's viewpoints even if they don't coincide with your own. It's a good day for making domestic plans, and some of these will be quite ambitious without being unrealistic or far-fetched.
