Hachmeister, Martin still undefeated at Elmwood Park Speedway
Jay Hachmeister of Lenora and Anthony Martin of Wilcox, NE, remained unbeaten in the three race dates this season at Elmwood Park Speedway in Norton, KS, after racing action Saturday night, May 12.
Workshop to be at Mitchell County Museum
The Mitchell County Historical Society and North Central Kansas Genealogical Society will host a Scandinavia "Bord" Workshop at 2 p.m. July 9 at the Mitchell County Museum, an eighth of a mile south of the junction of Kansas Highway 14 and Kansas Highway 24.

Billed as cowboy boots and country roots, the Lenora Jubilee is this weekend. Started more than 100 years ago, the annual event is expected to expand the small town's population to more than 3,000, said Scott Sproul, president of the Lenora Jubilee Association.
