LA County deputy shoots man in freeway confrontation

I assume the deputy was not in a patrol car or in uniform.

Yeah...probaly not, but "I" supposed that the supect's knife was open and the blade was exposed. GET A LIFE!! This is the type of society that we live in, there are idiots out there. Take off your rose colored glasses.

What a dummy. Bring a knife to a gun fight. Too bad he only wounded him. Now he will be back on the street before long, creating further problems.

When will we train these officers to shoot properly?

Now this jerk will make you and I go to serve on a jury and waste our time. Then he will get out, do it again. Round and round we go.

I agree......our legal system is seriously flawed! If this deputy had not shot this guy and he went on to injur or kill someone, then those idiots would be accusing the deputy of not taking the appropiate actions. Those working in law enforcement, its a lose lose battle. Damned if you do and damned if you dont. I agree that lethal shots should be taken, however there will always be those "groups" that would accuse law enforcement of being brutal killers "they train to kill people!" I would like to see a memeber of one of "these" groups to be in a life or death situation, then have the officer shoot the suspect in the toe to only "perserve his life." They wont cry wolf any more :)

Take deliberate aim and shoot to kill, should be the motto. In some ccases, the urgency may not permit taking deliberate aim.

How about a gang tax $5000 dallars per memeber on the propert tax. These gangs have enterprising business the can afford to pay a tax.

The hardes thing n he world to do is to take that shot, We live in a dangerous world, i you have never been a vicim of a crime then you are lucky. Law enforcement is a tough job and those of us that do it appreciate the support we get from our decent citizens.
