Students in the Uniontown area are learning to give back through their martial arts training at Praetorian Tactical Combatives International LLC, located off Connellsville Street in Lemont Furnace.

Supervisors accepted a bid of $36,913 from A.C. Moyer Co. of Lemont Furnace to pave 2,600 feet along Valley Road.

The Uniontown resident learned the art by accident, but her Carpatho-Rusyn heritage was a talisman.
