Your a little slow arent ya? There has already been Two topics about this. Explaining a drunk driver caused it. But hey, Don't worry there is alot of slow people in Grayson County. Your not the only one.

LOL

I think that was Lisa Bratcher that made this forum.

yes and see you wont more drunk driver,s here ??

And the rules are don't drink and drive. But, now they want it to be alright to drink, the rule is yet the same. So, are they gonna follow the rules because the county goes wet, or moist as some would say. I think NOT
They will not follow the rules. People will always abuse products. We cannot control what others do. We can educate, teach, train, etc. but SOME people you will never change. Having said that, NOTHING will change whether we vote this town moist or not. |
I completely agree! |
Are you refering to the wet/dry vote? Becouse if you are think about your comment just for a second. Just say for example if this was a completly wet county instead of someone being able to drive 5 min. to get beer they drive 30 or 40 to bowlinggreen to get it now. If they have a drinking problem how many can they have down by the time they get back into town here, all the while behind the wheel? And lets not forget our children now can anytime go to the local bootlegger and purchase it. If we were wet the bootleggers would be out of buiseness and you would have to be 21 to purchase. Lets also think about the added tax dollars that would be brought in to our comunity that is being spent somewhere else. And while there in bowlinggreen or where ever they drive to to get it there filling there vehicles up with gas there probably, and buying there dinner. And oh, while there there they might as well go shopping for things, that they could have maybe bought in Leitchfield. Now this is just speaking hypothecaly mind you but wet will be guaranteed tax revenue, bootleggers out of buisiness, and if we had bars, bartenders will most of the time cut people off, and call them a cab, where a bootlegger will carry them and there beer to the car and send them on there way. |
call them a cab? you mean we get to have cabs here too? lol
Well, yea your right.. But there's another thing we could get with a wet county, lol. |

sorry but i dont see this happening. i would love for it to but i dont think it will. you know that there is no way they are going to let anything come in here that will mean more business. just look at the old plastics building. they have had offers and it still sits empty. it would be so nice to go out to a real restaurant and get something good to eat and have a glass of wine with a meal. notice i did say a glass not a bottle. who knows what will happen. i just hope that something happens soon before its too late for leitchfield and we become just another run down city with nothing.
