A collision involving two 18-wheelers at the intersection of La. Highways 28 and 8 in Vernon Parish left this carnage and killed both drivers.

State Police said an 18-wheeler ran a stop sign at La. 8 and La. 28 east of here early Tuesday and was hit by another, killing both drivers and spilling molten sulphur onto the roadway.

Demetrius Pea, 27, of Leesville, was arrested Thursday, January 26 in DeRidder. Pea was charged with possession of schedule II and criminal conspiracy to distribute schedule II following an investigation by the narcotics task force.
