On Sunday, several agencies responded to a report of a sinking barge on the Tennessee River at the construction site for the New US 60 Tennessee River Bridge between Paducah and Ledbetter.

A barge that is supporting a construction crane was discovered sinking into the Tennessee River over the Memorial Day weekend at the site of a new bridge being built between Paducah and Ledbetter.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says a Paducah driver hit a Ledbetter teen around 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 on US Highway 60 West.

The Patio Grill is now open at Drake Creek Golf Course in Ledbetter. The new restaurant, located near the clubhouse is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving lunch and supper.

He was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church, retired as shop foreman for Jim Smith Construction and was the port engineer for R&W Marine Company.
