The Kern County Fire Department Type III strike team of 18 persons that was deployed to the Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara County last week, is said to return Monday.

A strike team from Kern County is getting ready to take off from Lebec. The Jesusita Fire started Tuesday afternoon in the foothills above Santa Barbara and has been pushed along by strong winds.
