Driver in fatal accident cleared

Is it really necessary to mention again about the cocaine found in his system...your paper sucks!!!!!

No...what's annoying is that they have to keep mentioning it in an article that was supposed to be about Matt Shepps. Every article about poor Matt has to be tainted with a reference to Mark's accident. Seperate kids...seperate accidents..treat them as such. Stop making Matt's tragedy forever live in the foreground of Mark's accident.

facts are facts.....forgive the paper for mentioning what was most likely the CAUSE of the accident. had he not had cocaine in his system he most likely would not have been driving like a nut and the accident would not have occurred. Sorry, just being honest dont blame the paper for doing their job.

I don't know. But it's the local consensus.. that there will be MUCH LESS jaywalking on foot, bicycle, and skateboard with the new sidewalk installed.

The point is.. two young people died.. who cares if one had drugs in his system or if the other crossed into traffic and shouldn't have. The point is these kids are gone, and we as a public should be more sensitive. These articles and these comments are ridiculous. No one is perfect, and nothing irritates me more than those than condemn someone for their choices but then make equally horrible decisions. Imagine these kids were a part of your family, your son, your nephew, your brother. How would you feel about this publicity? I might sound like I'm on a soap box, but lets check reality everybody. Nothing we can say or do will bring these kids back, so why disgrace their name. Matt and Mark were two different people, and should each be honored as individuals. The newspaper and the comments on this website make me angry as a human being, due to the insensitivity and complete disregard to others feelings. It makes me sick. Also, before someone gets angry about what I wrote, I will let you know I am very blunt about how I feel. Sometimes people don't like how I share my exact feelings, but as always, I don't care.

hey king pops, shut the hell up,mark had that in his system but he didnt do it that night. he drove fast because he was mark shyda and always did.

Mark Shyda's family has been contacted today and they were informed that there were NO drugs present in his system. That is fact a-holes, we'll see if the Daily shitpaper or the Coroner prints that.

The problem is, they don't report the facts, they make them up. FACT :Released this past weekend-No drugs present in Mark Shyda. And yes I'm sure he was speeding which is why it's a traggic accident. Nothing more to it.. I know I know.. he was such a horrible person for speeding... no adults or teenagers ever do that. The truth is, it's a shame that the kid made a mistake and had to pay with his life. If that happened to everyone - none of us would be here. RIP.
