Didn't study that civics lesson in 8th grade, did you? Since the day the Pilgrims landed here, the USA is comprised of those whom you say "don't belong" here. Except for native Americans, we're all from somewhere else.

What do they mean "COULD"?
He should face the death penalty.
I will gladly be a member of his firing squad. I'll also save the government money by supplying my own rifle and ammuntiion!

Hasan should hang for high treason. On YouTube is a video that is really interesting. Hasan charged with 13 counts of murder. They made mention of the 90k a year salary he made and the business cards that had on them "Solider of Allah." What else did he do with that 90k? I hope FBI, CIA and every other agency investigates this with a fine tooth comb.

I agree. I wouldn't just kill the guy like most on the forum keep calling for. I'd slowly torture him first and make him feel pain in such a way as never endured by anyone since I was forced to listen to Sgt. Pepper's at all those lame parties back in the 60's. With all due respect to the Beatles, of course...

Hasan is in a lot of pain now. The bleeding sappy hearts will make sure he stays alive for what political correctness? Will they try to make it stick, friendly fire? Captian O you should do the hanging honors. I'm a proud American and want to see justice. I don't want to see them shot just their neck broken.

Captain O you are worse than a filthy dog!

This was all because of the stupid P.C. culture in the military. All Muslims in the military should be thoroughly checked and be checked often and not be given top secret information.

We need to keep in mind that Major Hasan is innocent unless he's proven guilty. So far all we've read and heard in the news is that he's merely a suspect.

Here's an interesting article titled "Fort Hood Mystery"
by Michael Gaddy which shows the shootings from a different perspective:

"The facts as presented by the Army and the media reference the shooting at Fort Hood just don’t compute. While I routinely dismiss any "facts" disseminated by the Army and the state’s propaganda wing, sometimes referred to as the mainstream media (MSM), there are some glaring inconsistencies in what has been reported about this tragedy.

First is the report the perpetrator was dead and then hours later the revelation that he was still alive. Exactly how long does it take to determine if a person is dead or alive? Could it be no one knew whom the shooter or shooters were and a story had to be concocted for public consumption? What happened to the two other "suspects" that were detained? What did they do to qualify as suspects and more importantly, what information surfaced that led to their release? One of the suspects reportedly stated he "was with the shooter."

Second is the number of victims from a single shooter. Let us not forget this shooting did not occur at the mall, it occurred on a military installation where the victims had been trained in military tactics and some were combat veterans. We are to believe they did nothing to stop a single shooter and he was allowed to reload several times and continue shooting and the only thing that stopped him was the arrival of a police officer after the gunman had gunned down over 40 people?

And how so very convenient for the state, a perpetrator who was both anti-war and a Muslim; just doesn’t get any better than that. Could this be an example of following the philosophy of Rahm Emanuel on dealing with a crisis?"

We don't really know whether Major Hasan was responsible for the shootings in Fort Hood. The whole story as told in the media is highly suspect. Do you believe everything our MSM disseminates, American Dood?

With all due respect to veteran Mr. Gaddy, there are holes in his thinking and a deep shade of paranoia, too. I'm not going to list them all but first, at a time of crisis like the one here, disabling the cell towers should be a priority because Hasan may have been working together with other Muslim Allah freaks on that base. This sounds perfectly logical in my mind. Look at it this way: had they NOT disabled cell towers and there WERE other perps working with this jerk, they could have kept tabs with each other to avoid confrontation and capture to kill ten times more. Secondly, from what I've read, the shootings took place in an area of deployment preparation(shots, check-ups, etc.). How many military personnel are armed and ready for combat in this scenario? Gaddy points to this as being suspicious that trained and armed men and women on a military base weren't prepared for this event. That's completely unfair and he comes across as more of a grumpy paranoid blogger than an intelligent and informed commentator. Your source reflects back on you, unfortunately.
