When the doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday at the ninth annual Carolina Pottery Festival, Vicki Gill knows there will be a crowd waiting - several folks with bags already in hand - to see, examine and purchase the handiwork of the 100 well-known regional potters showing and selling their pieces at the event.
