A McCanna man was killed when his SUV was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train in a railroad crossing east of Larimore.

Authorities say a sport utility vehicle was struck by a freight train at a railroad crossing east of Larimore, killing the SUV driver.

A McCanna man was killed when his SUV was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train in a railroad crossing east of Larimore.
Two people were shot in the vicinity of 46th Street and Larimore Avenue. Authorities do not consider their injuries life-threatening. The victims may have been shot by someone inside a gray sport-utility vehicle, according to Omaha police.
