Public forum scheduled opposing Cayuga plant retrofitting

A group that opposes the proposed natural gas retrofitting of Cayuga Operating Plant in Lansing is holding a public forum 7 p.m. Monday at the First Unitarian Church, 306 N. Aurora St. Retrofititng the plant would lock central New York into expanded natural gas use, much of which would come from hydrofracking, the group said in a news release.
