Old Clearwater mill being torn down, will be redeveloped

A backhoe tears down one of the buildings set for disassembly. Since Oct. 10, buildings have come down with an eye toward redeveloping the site.

Greenville Chiropractor arrested on tax charges

South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators charged Dr. Jerry C. Langley of Greenville, with ten counts of failing to file an income tax return for tax years 1999-2008 and ten counts of failing to pay over employee withholding taxes for tax years 2000 through 2009.

Three out of four sophomores pass exit exam on first attempt

Three out of four Union County High School sophomores passed both sections of the high school exit exam on their first attempt according to information released Friday by the South Carolina State Department of Education.
