A former Lincoln County deputy jailer has been indicted on six counts of third-degree rape, making him the third former jail employee in the last three months to face criminal charges.

Thomas Wayne Hager Jr., 39, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. He is charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of tampering with evidence.
