DOT earmarks $4.6 million for county
The Florida Department of Transportation will fund 10 projects to improve county infrastructure next year, most of the nearly $5 million in grants to upgrade or rehabilitate existing roads and airports.
On May 21, the county commission voted unanimously to accept funding for roadside beautification from the Florida Department of Transportation .
