The Deer Creek-Lamont Public Schools PTO carnival is scheduled for today. The meal sponsored by Chikaskia Masonic Lodge 109 of Blackwell will be baked potato and Frito chili pie and will start at 5:30 p.m. in the Deer Creek cafeteria.

Lamont Lamont alumni reunion will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 28 at Lamont High School old gym.

Deer Creek-Lamont's homecoming was a success. The week was fulfilled with spirit week.

Advance Food Co. and NWOBI to sponsor blood drive Sunday Advance Food Co. and Northwest Oklahoma Blood Institute will sponsor a blood drive Sunday.

Deer Creek-Lamont National Honor Society held its induction of new members and installation of officers Aug.

DCLA School resumed on Aug. 12. The junior high/high school had 103 enrolled and the elementary had 99 enrolled.

It began as a yearbook idea, evolved into a schoolwide project and ended with some hefty donations to charity.
