Outages occurred in Bemus Point, Kiantone and Lakewood, which was hit the hardest after a tree fell on a major power line on Southwestern Drive between Hunt Road and Fairmount Avenue just after 4 p.m. Homes and businesses west of Southwestern Drive powered by National Grid were without electricity for roughly two hours after the tree fell.
