Fireworks are illegal in Long Beach so the P-T runs an article on where to get them in Lakewood. How much of these fireworks do you suppose will wind up back in LB?

You need to know that that happens all around California. Here in San Diego, they run to TJ and purchase them and then come back across the border. That is why nonprofit organizations are in jeopardy of selling fireworks to get the type of monies to help run those programs. You can't that type of money from car washes and bake sales. HELLO!!!!

And right now we are in the middle of a bad fire season, if you hadn't noticed. Hello! Even the Governor has asked these organizations to not sell fireworks this year.
People in Ventura County and other places comment on the same thing. Maybe you don't care, but I am not going to lose my place because someone went across the city line and brought back fireworks and started a fire.

I am fully aware of the fires. We have had some herendous fires here. It's not that I condone that type of thing, but as you know, some ruin it for all.
