Galloping conductors cause power outages
A combination of ice and wind caused a condition known as "galloping conductors" in Slayton, causing power outages this morning, March 7. Jim Clark of Xcel Energy said a total 1,627 homes and businesses lost power in the communities of Slayton, Hadley, Iona and Lake Wilson.
