Don't think I am bashing the Democrats. I am a life long member of the Party. However the Democratic machine in Columbus County has so defiled the process so much that the local system is in dire need of repair. Various attorneys and judges working in concert with the DA have pulled all sorts of backroom dealings, the likes of such dealings only found in organized crime. Everything from civil rights violations, to election issues to prosecutorial misconduct plagues our beloved county. One certain law firm gets anything that it wants out of the DA’s office. This “stumpin” shenanigan has done its part to create a vile monster in the grass roots lobbying of future corruption.
