A 39-year-old Burnet County man and a 71-year-old man from Lometa were killed Saturday night when their vehicles collided head-on on U.S. 281 about 14 miles north of Burnet.

According to the Burnet County Sheriff's Office, rains from Wednesday night and Thursday morning have caused some roads to be either closed or impassable.
