A bat found in a Lake Barrington home on May 24 has tested positive for rabies, the third in Lake County this year, according to the Lake County Health Department.

Police Blotter: Check Stolen From Mailbox and More

May 20: Brian M. Krasner, age 22, of 404 Torrey Pines Way, Vernon Hills, was arrested for aggravated DUI, driving while license revoked, tinted front driver and passenger side windows, improper turn, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance, improper lane usage and unlawful possession of controlled substance at Route 14 and Shorely Drive.
