In an effort to help their sisters and brothers in Samoa rebuild their lives, the Laie community will hold an Operation Relief Samoa Drive on Saturday at the Brigham Young University Hawaii administration parking lot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will be a combined effort between the BYUH Samoan Club and Laie community.

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, nearly 100 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the Laie Hawaii North Stake worked alongside volunteers from the North Shore Outdoor Circle to beautify Ke Ala Pupukea, a 3.5-mile bike path that runs through rural and commercial areas and along world renowned Sunset Beach.
