Why develope a new subdivision??
So many homes empty as it is. I hope the best to John Richard & his group in stopping this from happening. The housing market isn't that strong so who does the developer think is going to buy these homes? The cost of owning a home is still too high for most people and hundreds of homes in foreclosue because the job market isn't that strong. That developer must be from California... with the thinking of "oh look an empty lot... lets build a subdivision on it"
The one thing I liked about Lafayette is people still have yards and spaces inbetween homes ... not like California that the homes are built so close to your neighbor that you can reach out any window with your arm and touch the next house.
