YATESVILLE Close to 2,000 law enforcement officers saluted slain State Police Trooper Joshua D. Miller in a massive funeral Friday that included tributes from dignitaries, longtime friends and fellow officers.

Members of various motorcycle clubs in the Northeast came to Laceyville to honor State Trooper Joshua Miller in a tribute along Main Street organized by Warrior Watch Riders, a group that offers tributes to combat soldiers and police officers.

State troopers have carried the casket containing the body of their fallen comrade into the Pittston Area High School in Luzerne County, the school from which Trooper Joshua Miller graduated in 1992.

LACEYVILLE The Lacey Street Cemetery was peacefully quiet before slain state Trooper Joshua Miller was buried there on Friday, and it will be again.
