Scott Slemmons, Hero Sandwich "Holiday Gift Bag: All-Star Superman"
Oh boy! It's the biggest shopping day of the year! Thousands of people at the malls and the discount stores, taking up all the parking spaces and hitting each other with purses and axes and pontoon boats and whatnot! But it seems like a good time to kick off this year's "Holiday Gift Bag" series - over the next few weeks, I'm going to offer you ...
Author Weinstein Dissects the Great American (Jewish) Superhero
The Manchester, England-raised Weinstein, today a Brooklyn resident, came as a guest of Rabbi Shloime Zacks, Chabad's director of adult education.
Now that we have examined the two major comic companies, it is only proper that we delve a little deeper and look at the characters of those two separate universes and muse over how they would stack up in a mano e mano brawl.
Kandor 11/10/2009 Clark's biological dear-old-dad is back on Earth! I'm sure their reunion is going to be - oh, uh, never mind.
If Smallville continues to produce episodes of good quality like tonight's, I may have to take back some of the things I've been saying about it.
Smallville is now in its ninth season, and if there is one thing I have learned from another show that made it to its ninth season, The X-Files , it's not to rely too much on continuity in the show's mythology.
Katy Perry with Russell Brand's name on her ass
Katy Perry wore no less than 5,000 different outfits at the MTV EMAs last night, so here she is in a little lingerie number with Russell Brand's name on her ass which is probably the hottest thing a girl could do for her boyfriend.
Another tale of strange Silver Age medicine, this time from World's Finest #87 : A new masked and super-powered bank robber appears in Metropolis and Superman tracks him to his lair only to find that the robber had been waiting for him with a chunk of kryptonite.
Review: Smallville - Crossfire
Tonight's episode had everything but the metaphorical kitchen sink. There was a lot going on.
Tonight we get an Oliver-centric episode that finally resolves his issues. Good! Now we can get to the more interesting dramas of the series such as that with Major Zod and his time-traveling Kryptonian army.
Krypto was being his normal silly Kryptonian pooch self, flying around, barking, being your average dog with that ability to fetch a few super villains, when it dawned on me, how perfect is a super dog? Dogs exhibit all the qualities of a good sidekick.
Echo 10/20/2009 Toyman's back, Clark's got a new power, Ollie's in Mexico, and Tess thinks she's Lara Croft.
Rabid 10/14/2009 Who needs to pay to see Zombieland at the movies when you can watch Superman fighting zombies for free on TV? Clark awakens at the Watchtower next to a syringe with a Kryptonite-laced needle and a cell phone with a message from Ollie that he lost track of Lois.
Smallville: Preview of Episode 9.03 "Rabid"
I know I've experienced zombie days before, when the mind is just in a zone of numbness, and all you want to do is stare blankly at things while going "Nyaaargh." Lucky for the people around me, I don't exactly crave flesh and brains at those times.
All New Smallville: Rabid Clip
The CW Network has released a brand new clip from the forthcoming Smallville epsiode, Rabid , which will debut on Friday, Octoer 9 at 8 PM ET on the CW Network.
I wonder if anyone who was flipping channels thought they were catching a new season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles with an incredible plot twist? After flirting with Lois again, new reporter John Corben is hit by a truck and wakes up in a makeshift lab with bionic parts, including a Kryptonite heart.
Review: Smallville episode 9.2 'Metallo'
Tonight, Smallville continued the tradition of reinterpreting Superman's classic rogues gallery for primetime television by introducing the future Man of Steel's cyborg enemy Metallo.
Welcome back to another year of "the show that wouldn't die". This year, we've been given a target in the first episode that in one year, Clark will somehow destroy the world.
"Smallville" 8 p.m. KFRE : Clark Kent and "Smallville" are going through some changes for tonight's ninth season opener.
"Smallville" continues to grow
Back when "Smallville" launched on what was then the WB Network, executive producer Alfred Gough promised "no flights, no tights." That was when the series was about a family trying to raise a special needs son.
