A press release issued by the office of Governor Sean Parnell last week announced billions of dollars in his fiscal year 2013 budget for new school construction and major maintenance projects across the state.

Governor Sean Parnell announced today that his Fiscal Year 2013 budget will provide $8 million in continued support for the Alaska Performance Scholarship, which challenges students to take more rigorous high school courses, and then rewards them with funding to attend Alaska's universities and postsecondary training programs.
