love the story, but I don't think the home was built in 1977. Correction would be appreciated. I'm guessing 1877?

Good Luck! What a great project. My brother was married there a few years back and I thought it was a neat little place, but could use a face lift!

As a kid, my friends and I would go there on Halloween to see if we would see any ghosts. LOL.

As well as agreeing with the two previous posts about the date, the writer should know that the plural of Stevens is Stevenses (not Stevens).

I don't think it was built in 1977. I had a friend whose family lived in the home around 1970 -71 because I once spent the night there the house was old then. Good Luck to the new owners in restoring.
