She's postmaster at the Knierim Post Office, one of the smallest of the small, with 34 boxes and no rural routes.

Charles Ballstadt, the grandson of two prominent Calhoun County pioneers and life-long resident of Knierim passed away on October 22, 2011 at the age of 92.
