Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties hit by hail
The eastern counties of Kit Carson and Cheyenne were pounded with large hail Friday evening, with some reports of baseball-sized hail 2.75 inches in diameter.
These storms were located along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Burlington to 15 miles north of Cheyenne Wells to firstview... moving east at 20 mph.
