The 13th Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated three candidates for a District Court judgeship created by the retirement of 13th Judicial District Judge J. Curt Penny Jr., effective Aug.

Colorado can't seem to dodge tornadoes. A tornado watch has been posted for all of northeastern Colorado, including the Denver area, and most of the Eastern Plains.

The federal Environmental Protection Administration will give the town of Kit Carson $200,000 to clean up contamination in the Paxson Building downtown.
