Halloween sex offender laws

Sunday, November 01, 2009 at 7:42 p.m. While kids across the heartland headed out to trick or treat Halloween night, the Adair County Sheriff's Office was out working to keep them safe.

This is the stupidest law ever!! If they're do dangerous to have trick or treaters or live within a certain distance of schools, etc, then dammit, they're too dangerous to not be behind bars.

I personally don't think we should waste jail space on them. String 'em from a tree and eventually it'll stop.

I do however like the law since we'll never hang these people. Keep them from being around kids and keep an eye on them so it WON'T happen again. Thank you to all the law enforcment out there for a job well done.
