Pike County Spelling Bee crowns champion

By CHAD ABSHIRE Staff Writer PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The Pike County Grand Jury returned 15 indictments this week: James L. Jackson, 51, of Myra; second-degree burglary when he unlawfully entered or remained in the residence of Jerry Sexton for the purpose of committing a crime.
P'burg man killed in Pike wreck
A Floyd County man was killed Friday during a traffic accident involving three vehicles.
Kentucky State Police say one person is dead after a three vehicle accident on Ky 194 in the Kimper community of Pike County.
