A Wells man is listed in critical condition after the Minnesota Department of Transportation snowplow he was driving collided with a Union Pacific train.
The driver of a snowplow that was struck Friday by a Union Pacific train in Kiester is a 21-year Minnesota Department of Transportation employee, according to a department report.

A 55-year-old Wells man was critically injured Friday afternoon in Faribault County when the Minnesota Department of Transportation snowplow he was driving was struck by a train and pushed about three-quarters of a mile down the railroad tracks.

Oskerson sentenced to jail time
