HELP ME!!!!!!!!! i keep getting raped by ghosties at fairfield hills. It was sooooooo SPOOKY!!!!!! I cant call the cops,if i pick up the phone or leave the house......BAM i get triple teamed by ghosties yeyeah!!!!!

I cannot tell you how disgusting that posting from "rape victime for life" is. I am a retired nurse who was a head nurse in Kent House at Fairfield Hills. Male Violent ward.
Yes, it got ugly. But only because the civil rights do gooders took away the farm and gardens and all the wonderful things the patients did for work and which made the place almost self sufficient. With nothing to do they were locked up in a big room just drugged and waiting for a time for a cigarette. Thanks CLU. I loved those poor souls entrusted to my care and will carry the pain of some of them, all my life. Have we not evolved? Are those afflicted with mental illnesses still the butt of such disgusting jokes.
You should pray for all the tormented souls for who that hospital was "home". One patient was very special and he hung himself in spite of my best efforts to help him. A sorrow I feel to this day. PLEASE find compassion and dont post such disgusting comments ever again.

My stepfather was one of the earliest employees. Before the walls took form, Ernest Fenn was on campus. If anyone reading this, worked there, they'll remember him. He served as head of maintenance for over 50 years. There was a poem written for him.

I use to visit the patients there and offer whatever comfort from the scriptures I could. What a sad place. Two friends eventually stayed there for problems.

For all the ugliness that both patients and staff had to endure we still need places like this.
