San Anselmo fire damages apartments, art studio

A two-alarm fire Tuesday in San Anselmo that jammed the morning commute through town caused an estimated $700,000 damage to two apartments and an adjacent art studio.

"Firefighters"? How many women are working in Marin County Firehouses? Many of the fires that destroyed homes in California were insufficiently "staffed" because a certain number of positions were kept open for women. No women applicants, therefore the jobs go unfilled.

Where did you get that information? They always
look like their loafing around? Plus, with
todays fire codes-not much burns-that why
the I.J. puts a small fire on the front page.
If you're a rejected applicant, there are tons

That is the most useless, pointless rant, peoples lives were permantly changed and you used it as a platform to complain about womens rights. Women should not be firemen, it is a mans job. sorry, that is reality!
