College Student's Arrest Leads To Racism Claims

thay need to learn to phrase the shortened story cause reading whats posted does not make sence.

Give me a freakin break. It seems the girl and her family are milking this for all they can get out of it financially.
Same goes for the damn Memphis paper. Before, it was said a police officer gave a black lady in the march downtown, a KKK Card, etc.
Now they claim the police came to their house and passed out cards.
What bullsh*t....and they expect everyone to believe it? LMAO
I think this is just a trashy family out to get all the money they can get. Hope they never see a dime and she gets some time....

And I hope the U. S. Justice Department laughs big time at them.

OH, and since the defendant is female, don't forgot nancy grace and gloria alred!!! I wonder what might have happened if she had just waited in line with everyone else? I guess we can't be troubled with that since all we have to do now is blame someone else and get them into court. I wonder how many other times she has been arrested and claimed the all to easy "race card". I sure wish I had some way to just be rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful and then shift attention to something else! Doesn't matter, this won't be posted. Take responsibility for your actions and throw that stupid card in the trash, if all you can do is use the race card, then maybe the human race doesn’t need you!

Right now, Justice probably isn't going to be that much help. They need a good criminal attorney and a good civil attorney who specializes in tort law.

There has been no Tort committed here, and if she were to waste the Court's time with such, she will come out in the hole.

(Better check to see the penalties for filing frivolous suits nowadays), lol.

She is a definite loser in her case, and should have taken the sweetheart deal she was offered. Since she didn't, she will now pay the price--this, we will see.

Wow! It's funny how people always have an opinion when they no NOTHING about a situation! My cousin went to Wal-Mart with another cousin, they got into separate lines to see which would move faster. His moved faster, she moved! From that she was beat up by the police, 5 police officers might I add and is now facing 15 years in prison! This is ridiculous. For your information other family members have paid the penalty when they broke the law! Heather has done nothing wrong so yes WE are fighting for her freedom!

I was born and raised and so were lots of others black and white and they know the truth about Kennett and how it has always been!

Since this has been already put in the media why can't the video that shows what happened be put out there? I don't know if that is legal but at least everyone could see what happened.

if she would have cut in front of me black white i dont care i would have said something to her too,she was in one line but it wasnt moving fast enough for her she cut in front of other people to get in the line with her cousin how fair was it for the ones that was already in that line?

When it goes to court it will be a he said she said thing. Who's the court going to believe? Some girl who admitted she cut in line and is shown in video being defiant or a cop? How many other ways can we twist a story to get attention?

I keep asking this question and getting no response. Please explain how you know what's on the tape. Have you seen it for yourself? If so, how did you see it when no one else in the public has?

Or are you simply speculating about what it's going to show for a particular side, without having actually seen the alleged tape with your own two eyes?

Well I haven't said somethings cause my family asked me not to make comments or even entertain people and their ignorance! So regrading the tape go to the Kennett police department and ask them what happened to the tape! Cause I wanna know what happened to it too! you would think since there is a tape and my cousin was so out of line and belligerent they would be eager to show it!
