Kenansville, Florida A public workshop will be held at the Kenansville Community Center, 1176 South Canoe Creek Road in Kenansville on January 19, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Workshop is being held to introduce the Joint Land Use Study currently underway for the Avon Park Air Force Range .

Osceola County School District officials last week approved a series of attendance rezonings that will shift hundreds of elementary and middle school students by next year.

Osceola County, Florida Osceola County Professional Fire Fighters have been sponsoring families in need during the Holiday Season since 1991, providing toys, food, clothes, a Christmas dinner, and in some cases, bill assistance.

Osceola County officials are in the process of determining how the county's library system, which is set to run on shorter hours in the future, should adjust to a new schedule being proposed as a cost-saving measure.
