Education grant winners selected
The state last week recommended awarding $88.6 million to 24 school projects as part of Gov. John Kasich's Straight A Fund Grant program intended to reward innovation in education.
On Thanksgiving, the ferry will run only two trips, one leaving Marblehead at 9 a.m. and one at 5 p.m. The regular schedule is as follows: The ferry's first trip leaves Marblehead at 8 a.m., with the last boat to the island leaving Marblehead at 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday.
