Voters meeting to discuss the budget for the Kearsarge Regional School District at yesterday's deliberative session all seemed to agree that the economy is bad and that the residents who live in the seven towns that make up the district can't afford to pay much more in property taxes.
Kearsarge costs up $1.1 million
It's been a tough few months for budget writers in the Kearsarge Regional School District, where spikes in health insurance, special education, utilities and retirement contributions are making it increasingly hard to control spending.
