Sampling Whitman and Art From the Civil War

Full story: New York Times

The current exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art - "Bold, Cautious, True: Walt Whitman and American Art of the Civil War Era" - is a didactic sort of show, centering on representations of historical events in American art and about the literature of Walt Whitman in and around the Civil War period.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Capricorn

Someone is in a finger-wagging mood and unfortunately they seem to be concentrating on you! Maybe they think you've fallen from grace for some reason, or perhaps you're simply the only person who happens to be around when they feel like letting off steam. Do your best not to fall into an equally critical and disgruntled mood, because it will soon make you feel wretched.
