DOCUTAH, the southern Utah International Documentary Film Festival, hit the Public Broadcasting System's top 12 list for best small-town documentary festivals in 2012.

Rusty, the stray dog of Oak Brook, has a home. It is in Kanab, Utah. Remarkably, it is the home of a woman who moved there recently from the Chicago area.

The women who were part of the first all-woman city council in Utah took office a century ago in January 1912 - eight years before women in the U.S. were allowed the right to vote.
