Isnt it funny you get more time for dui, than you get for drugs ,theft, coruption of minors, and conspiracy?Doesnt anyone else see anything wrong here ,could it be that dui is a money racket for the county ?

Yeah I would have to agree. I am not saying it is ok to drink & drive but there are many out there that are getting DUI's for having A beer or 2. That is not drunk. Thats exactly what it all adds up to roger - A MONEY RACKET but....people can steal 80+ guns, deal drugs, theft, corruption of minors, etc. and get a slap on the wrist. As I said before - you need to be a criminal to have the judicial system on your side.

You don't generally get prison time for DUI unless you've had more than one DUI. And if you've had more than one, you have problems and need to take control of your life.

Yeah but its one thing when you only had 1 or 2 beers verses being trashed and should not be behind the wheel. Their legally intoxicated limit is ridiculous. The lower they go the more people they can get money from because they can't get it from the creeps that rob, commit murder, molest, etc. but they will put them right back out on the street. Gee I feel real safe. I feel safer on the road than I do in my own back yard. There definately is a limit but this is a money racket in their eyes to a definate degree.

OK, we get it....you want the limit raised so that you have the right to chug as many as you want and then go out and prove that you are not too drunk to drive. And of course when you do kill somebody, you can plead not guilty because you weren't over the limit.

What's next? You want to be able to snort three lines before you are guilty of using?

Solution #1 - Zero Beers.

Solution #2 - Designated Driver.

Both of these solutions have been out there and advertised for the past 25 years.

If you VOLUNTEER to be a designated driver... your friends/family will appreciate it....
and return the favor to you on your night to get loaded.

Good luck.

Lets hope you are not one of those people that had only a beer and get pulled over and get busted for a DUI. Maybe you should have gotten a ride then. Like I said there is a point of being drunk and having a beer and today - 1 beer in most people is legally intoxicated....NAHHHHH. Just an easy money grab for the legal system because they can't get it elsewhere.

Please cite where having one beer has led to a DUI. Stop with your fallacious logic and we can have a decent conversation about proportionality to other crimes.
