Guess I missed this story... What happened?

Two Bono cops taking advanage of an underage girl.

No not 2 Bono cops taking advantage of an underage girl. 2 cops screwing a little slut. My kids know the girl, she has a taste for older men. Still doesnt make it right though. The second cop was even more stupid for screwing her after she told about her former boyfriend and got him arrested.

So how old is the girl now? Was it all consensual?

Maybe it's a conspiracy. Meth heads sending their daughter out to sleep with the cops that are giving them a hard time and have them thrown in jail for statutory rape. I just cant believe the second guy fell for the girls plan. She obviously ratted on his boss, it was just a matter of time for him. hmmm lol

Don't get me wrong. I do not by all means believe that they should have ever touched this girl and I think everything was handled as it should have been with the first cop. But for the same girl to do this again with another law enforcement officer. This is by her choice and I am glad that the second guy didn't get as much. She is clearly throwing herself police officials.

Where are this girls parents. To let her go with the first cop delivering presents at 14 years old and the other cop to have access to her the way he did at age 16. They need to have to answer for something. Maybe my conspiracy thoery is correct. lol

OMG! You would've thought that the 2nd cop would have learned from the 1st cops mistakes. Where are the parents of this girl?

So she is not just having cops thrown in jail? Yeah, I can believe that. It sounds like a slut to me. Parents of this girl please control your daughter. Karma is a b!tch and she is likely to get STD's of some sort if not already. Us tax payers will be paying for your new grandbaby that you will raise. You know what is going on. She is becoming a home wrecker and YOU are letting this happen. You can set some restrictions. Bono is too small of a town to have a reputation like that. It will ruin her future if it hasn't already.

Again, WHERE ARE HER PARENTS? If she is breaking the law or being a trouble maker the parents still need to step in. Because it stated numerous sexual encounters not just one or two.

is she doing it with the officers or is she saying she is doing it with the officers for whatever reason just to get them busted.

what the papers wrote about was in the probable cause affidavit. This doesn't mean it was true just that she SAID it was. Yes there was a conviction and yes it was wrong, but at 16 if he had not been a cop nothing would have come of this. She is a slut and her parents were so embarressed by their daughter that they moved out of Bono. We sure didn't loose much when they left. The reporter stated HE violated her, how can that be when SHE wanted it all along and probably pushed until she got it. People in town THINK! We all knew Jim for how many years? He is a great guy and was an excellent cop until this girl started her plan. Sure SHE said it was numerous times, sure SHE said he was on duty, but we all know her don't we? The town liar and town slut. How many others that weren't cops, anybody want to fess up?

i don't understand why she didn't 'disappear" after the first cop.

Went to JHS with Jim til his family & he moved back up north. He is as good a guy as you could want for a friend. How many older guys aren't flattered when some young girl pays attention to them? Thank goodness the court considered the past history of both before sentencing. Sure, he may have gotten weak and screwed up, but don't pass judgement til you've successfully dealt with the same situation. Hang in there Jim !!

You know the legal age of consent in the state of Arkansas is 16 right? I know it was wrong for an older man to have sex with a teen and she was wrong for draging him into it. But if it was consentual then it was legal.

first of all,this is not a "little girl". girls are having babies every day ay 14 and 15.
of course it is wrong for an adult to have sex with an "underage"girl, but maybe this law should be looked at again.
in today's society, mothers are buying their three year old daughters thong underwear,for god's sake.

I knew Duhon and Matha (worked with them at one time) Duhon was a man whore. Got just what he should have gotten. Matha was a good man that let common sense go out the window when his d**k got hard. He is very much smarter than that. He knew she set up Duhon how could he not know she would do the same to him? This girl is clearly a whore and likes getting men in trouble for "using her" LOL I believe it is the other way around. Problem is just now stupid can a grown man be?? Hope you other Officers out there are smarter than this. If not your day is coming too.

OMG, are you serious. Thongs on three year olds. I have never heard such a thing and never knew they made such a thing. I agree parents need to be more aware these days not only with their girls but the boys too. The teenage boys that get a pat on the back for having a girlfriend at age 13-15 by their parents need to be looked at too. Peer pressure is really strong at that age and the boys can start all kinds of nasty rumors about the girls if they don't do what they think they should. Boys are rushing hormones at that age not so much in the girls. Girls don't get theirs until a little older. Not saying that more so boys than girls but = in this situation. Both need better guidance and dicipline and lets not forget supervision.

Here is actually what the paper read.

The girl told police she saved the dates that she and Matha had sex on her cellular telephone records, the court document read.

In a tape-recorded statement to State Police Investigator Phil Carter, Matha admitted to having sex with the girl.

“When asked how many times he had sex with the female,[Matha] stated that he wanted an attorney and the interview was ended,” the affidavit read.

So he even admits that he had sex with the girl.

First of all a kid is a kid and NO ADULT has a right to take advantage of one. Second a dirty cop is a dirty cop we all know that. So those of you who would chose to blame a kid for an adult being disgusting and perverted, SOMETHING is wrong with YOU!!!
