Nonsense. I'm 32 and way too young for a heart attack. I'm overweight (312 pounds), but there's no real need to start trying to diet until I'm around 40...that's the age that things can start going wrong, but even that's too young for a heart attack.

aye, so said the guy I took care of in the Emergency Department that had a full blown ST elevation MI (heart attack) at the ripe old age of 27.....sucks to be less than 30 years old and have a heart that works at 30% capacity. But keep on deluding yourself.

My brother had a heart attack at 26. Never been sick, strong, not overweight, did not smoke, exercised. Went into cardiac arrest, almost died. The doctor said he was 100% occluded in one of his arteries. Had to have open heart surgery. Now he is 35 and on a bunch of meds and has a pacemaker. Never say never.

I lost a dear friend last year due to a heart attack, he was 34years old, seem to be in great health, was not over weight more on the slender side, he was also very active and played softball every week with his team. YOU NEVER KNOW! So Walter W. please be carefull!
