Law-enforcement agents arrested three central Ohio men and confiscated more than 250 marijuana plants this week after a 21-month investigation into an indoor marijuana-growing operation.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 7:10 PM WCLT News Staff A Johnstown restaurant owner and two others from Central Ohio were indicted on conspiracy charges after a raid by federal agents.

JOHNSTOWN - Local law enforcement assisted the Drug Enforcement Administration in raiding several locations accused of being involved in a marijuana-cultivation conspiracy, according to a press release from Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Federal, state and local law enforcement worked together to arrest three individuals suspected of cultivating large crops of marijuana inside Central Ohio homes.

Three Licking County seniors were among 54 Ohio students to receive scholarships from the Ohio High School Athletic Association last week.
