8200 block of Parkview Drive, July 30 - A person reported damage to a mailbox. 10850 Plum Drive, July 30 - A Home Depot employee reported two people came into the store and stole about $100 worth of copper tubing. 3740 86th St., July 30 - A woman made a report at the Urbandale Police Department of being the victim of domestic abuse causing injury. 8100 block of Dellwood Drive, July 31 - A man reported someone had gone through his truck and broke the back window. Nothing was reported missing. 10600 block of Sharon Circle, July 31 - A woman reported the theft of a wallet from her car. 9943 Hickman Road, Aug. 1 - A Brightwell's Boathouse employee reported the theft of a 1997, 16-foot long Smoker boat, 1996 Mercury 60-horse-power motor and Shorelander Trailer. Police said the suspect/s cut a cable attached to the boat, hooked up a trailer to it and drove off. 3740 86th St., Aug. 1 - A person made a report at the Urbandale Police Department that two satellite radios were stolen from two cars. 4400 block of 62nd Street, Aug. 1 - A person reported someone had broken a tail lamp and dented their truck. 7603 Dennis Drive, Aug. 3 - A man reported the theft of a stereo faceplate from his vehicle, which was parked at Ambassador West Apartments. He also reported the car's turn signal and windshield wiper levers were broken. 7100 block of Twana Drive, Aug. 3 - A woman reported the window to her car, which was parked on the street, had been broken. 2769 99th St., Aug. 3 - An employee of Awards Program Services reported finding pry marks on a door from an apparent attempted burglary of the business. No entry was gained. 3740 86th St., Aug. 3 - A man made a report at the Urbandale Police Department of the theft of a license plate. 3900 block of Patricia Drive, Aug. 3 - A man reported the theft of a laptop and CDs from an unlocked vehicle. 10850 Plum Drive, Aug. 3 - A Home Depot employee reported the theft of two rolls of electric wiring, worth about $200 per roll. The items were later retrieved. 9800 block of Brookview Drive, Aug. 3 - A person reported the theft of a billfold and iPhone from an unlocked vehicle. 6600 block of Northwest 51st Street, July 28 - A person reported the theft from a car of an iPod Nano valued at $150. 6400 N.W. Beaver Drive, July 30 - A woman who was attempting to retrieve her dogs from impoundment at the Johnston Public Works Department was charged with trespassing. 10010 N.W. 62nd Ave., July 30 - An employee from Casey's General Store reported the theft of $99.51 in gasoline. 5500 block of Northwest 66th Avenue, July 3 - A person reported $50 damage to a chain link fence by an unknown person. Between Northwest Beaver Drive and Merle Hay Road, July 31 - Workers reported the theft of $4,000 worth of copper wire from a construction site. 8400 block of Barnham Drive, Aug. 4 - A woman reported unauthorized charges on a bank account, totaling $371. The charges were made over the Internet. 6516 N.W. Beaver Drive, Aug. 4 - An employee of Heartland Boats reported that someone drove into the lot and hit a trailer hitch, resulting in $16,000 total damage to three pontoon boats.
