A 12-year-old boy is suffering from severe head trauma tonight after a 4th of July fireworks accident.

Jefferson County Sheriff Paul Milbrath reports that at approximately 10:10 p.m. on July 4, 2009, the Sheriff's Department received a call of a child being injured by fireworks.
